Alzheimer’s Disease and How to Reduce Your Risk
For centuries we have known that the health of the brain and body are connected. But now science is able to provide insights and research into how to optimize our physical and cognitive health as we age. Join us as Sandy Molotte
Bainbridge, Community Educator for the Alzheimer’s Association, shares the latest research with us and talks about how to incorporate the recommendations into a plan for healthy aging that could reduce your risk for Alzheimer’s disease.
Sandy Molotte Bainbridge, a 1967 Kent Meridian graduate, will join us to speak and dialog on this topic. Sandy is a volunteer for the Colorado Alzheimer’s Association, and a trained community educator on Alzheimer’s disease. Sandy’s Mom, Beverly Molotte, long time cook at Kent Meridian Senior High, lived with Alzheimer’s disease for nine years. She passed at 92 in March 2017. Sandy honors her Mom by speaking about the journey of the disease, caregiving and caregiver care.
